The Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, Inc. (Gardner VNA) is a not-for-profit home healthcare services organization dedicated to providing the citizens of North Central and North Quabbin areas of Massachusetts with quality, compassionate care, regardless of their ability to pay. We believe that ALL people have the right to the best healthcare possible, whatever their circumstances, and that they deserve to receive that care in the comfort and security of their homes whenever possible.

To help build healthy communities by delivering high-quality health and social services in a fiscally responsible manner in the homes and neighborhoods of North Central and North Quabbin areas of Massachusetts.

A Message from CEO Elaine T. Fluet, RN, MSN
Welcome to the Gardner VNA website.
I'm excited by what is happening at Gardner VNA, with its outstanding patient outcomes and customer service. We recently received a Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction and ranked in the top 20% of high performing Medicare Certified agencies. We are proud to be the agency of choice for the residents of the 24 cities and towns in North Central Massachusetts that we serve.
Please use this site as a resource to learn about the many services offered by the Gardner VNA. I welcome all of your comments and suggestions. Tell me what you think about our web site, our services, our organization, or anything else that is on your mind.
Gardner VNA has a culture of committed employees and we have provided high-quality care to the area since 1906. Our agency provides more than just nursing care in the home; we also provide hospice care, rehabilitative services, medical social services, and home health aide services.
We have many specific programs that make us uniquely different in the way care is provided to our clients; these include:
- Three Adult Day Health Care Centers in Gardner, Fitchburg, and Athol.
- Telehealth monitoring, personal emergency response system, and a medication management system, weaving the latest technology with traditional homecare.
- Private duty service, My Home Connection, offers nursing care, homemakers and companions. The program is tailored to individual needs.
- The Gardner VNA takes a holistic approach to health for individuals and our communities. Volunteers in Hospice offer complementary therapies and comfort measures. For end-of-life needs, our hospice team embraces a client and its family with all the physical, emotional and spiritual support necessary.
- We are proud to offer a Symposium for Well-Being that encompasses all aspects of wellness. Over the past few years we have enjoyed Bernie Siegel, Benjamin Zander, Kevin Gilbert, James Montgomery and Gary Guller.
